Today, I cycled out to Djouce on my brand new TREK 9.9ssl hardtail, All in all I did 4.5 hours riding and it was an amazing day for a bike ride with clear skies and pure sun. The spin included 2.5 hours Mountain biking. I needed to get the extra miles in for the up coming Racing season by riding out on the road. It turns out the new bike goes like a Madone on the flats aswell as being a rough and ready all terrain cross country bike! The Thinkbike club members were waiting with anticipation and were eager to get out on the dry and crispy trails. It turns out the trails were so dry and fast today and it has been a long time since they have been this fast. We made the most of it by cycling down and up some of the best trails Djouce has to offer. I rode XTC at warp speed practicing my berms and Ian Kingston followed in hot persuit.
The lads enjoyed the morning, and absolutely shredded the trails. Roll on summer trail riding
Here's a picture of me practicing my downhilling on a wet day. You can see i'm riding the 09' 9.9SSL hardtail in this photo
